Omnibus Surveys

CJMR's Child Youth and Parent Omnibus surveys are an ideal vehicle for cost effective researching of young consumers.

Children and teenagers are contacted in their homes by professional market research interviewers experienced in interviewing young people. Interviews are conducted face-to-face which allows prompt material to be shown. The survey is not connected with any adult survey and the sample details (quota) are related to the age and sex of children.

Permission of parents, or other adult responsible for the children, is obtained before children under 16 are interviewed. CJMR has been running the Child Omnibus in Britain for 20 years and has an unrivalled bank of experience and trend information.

We provide consultancy on questionnaire design for interviewing children and can help with report writing, presentations and chart preparation.

Our Omnibus service is especially useful for: establishing product awareness and usage, advertising and image measures, profiles of users, tracking, media studies, pre-/post- advertising tests, minority sampling.

Similar surveys are available in most other European countries, in conjunction with local agencies.
